I have looked for every fountain of knowledge that would prepare me to be a strong communicator, and leader, since I first started performing at age 17 for my high school speech team. I have given my time, energy, and spirit to every organization and cause I have believed in and, although I am primarily a performing artist, I want to impart my knowledge and capacities as a leader to our community’s youth – our future leaders. The City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) will offer “LEVEL-UP”, a free quick-start summer program designed to ensure first-year college bound students are prepared to take on the challenge and rigor of college level work.
