I have looked for every fountain of knowledge that would prepare me to be a strong communicator, and leader, since I first started performing at age 17 for my high school speech team. I have given my time, energy, and spirit to every organization and cause I have believed in and, although I am primarily a performing artist, I want to impart my knowledge and capacities as a leader to our community’s youth – our future leaders. I have faith that the skills I learn at the 11th Annual NALAC Leadership Institute will aid me in my civic duty towards salvaging dreams and giving hope through the arts.

My trip to India is going to be the quintessential part of my summer, but I need your help to get there! Enthusiasm alone cannot buy me a plane ticket to India or guarantee my lodging once there. My fundraising goal is set at $2000, which would cover all my necessary expenses.
$2000 seems like a lot, but if divided into hundreds of small pieces, it doesn’t have to be a huge burden to anyone.

The City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) will offer “LEVEL-UP”, a free quick-start summer program designed to ensure first-year college bound students are prepared to take on the challenge and rigor of college level work.
