Although still referenced as the most recent immigrants, the truth is, Mexicans have been in Chicago for nearly 100 years. There is a rich cultural history, and a centuryʼs worth of contributions from Mexicans that have made our great city what it is today.
MEX talks features prominent Mexican and Mexican-American speakers on a variety of topics, such as education, politics, arts and culture, business and economics, immigration and civil rights, through a uniquely Mexican lens.
