Our Programs


Our programming works to empower Chicago’s Latino and immigrant communities, so that our communities have access to high-quality immigration services; victims of domestic abuse can escape their abusers without losing their citizenship status; Latino stories are spotlighted on the center stage; and so that Latino youth are supported throughout the college application process.



Family Services

Family Services is a part of Latinos Progresando’s Legal Services program and helps families reunite through legal immigration.
Violence Against Women Act

The VAWA Initiative empowers immigrants and children who are victims of domestic violence to free themselves from dependency on a resident or citizen abuser.
Teatro Americano

Teatro Americano connects our community members to the arts so that they can creatively explore the issues that affect their lives.


College Bound Youth Group

The College-Bound Youth Group informs students about how to be leaders, to build up their communities, to get to college, succeed in college, access financial aid, and how to advance themselves professionally.
