Representatives of Marshall Square Resource Network member organizations, including LP’s very own Jennifer Idrovo and Adela Perez, presented “Creating a Forum to Discuss Urban Green Space Through the Lens of Community Health and Safety” at the 2019 Wild Things Conference in Rosemont, Illinois.
Jen and Adela, with Network partners Dan Fulwiler of @esperanzahealthcenters , Gladiz Nava of @openlands.chicago , and community resident leader Julia Vega, spoke about the Marshall Square Resource Network’s successful engagement of community members and organizations in activating green spaces to promote community health. The panel discussion was moderated by Forrest Cortes of The Nature Conservancy in Illinois.
