Carlos Tortolero

“I love life. Being Mexican is super important to me. Working with the Mexican culture is an honor and a privilege.

Sharing the Mexican culture with my own community and the non-Mexican community motivates me to excel. Latinos Progresando is a very important organization in our community as it has many vital programs. It is an institution that I greatly admire.”

Carlos Tortolero is the Founder and President of the National Museum of Mexican Art, the only Latino museum accredited by the American Association of Museums. He uses his platforms to uplift the Mexican culture, and inspire people around the world. He has given generously of his time and talent, including being part of MEX talks committees, to support our organization’s mission and vision. He’s an integral, inspiring member of the LP family, and we’re honored to recognize him as part of our 21st anniversary celebration.
