Omar Ramos

“My daughter Eliani inspires me. She has motivated me to use the media platforms that I work in to help create a peaceful and stronger society while helping to heal this community.

I want a better world for Eliani and the new generations to come. Latinos Progresando is a great example of what it is to help others who are in need. The organization is like the homie from the barrio that has your back through thick and thin.”

Omar Ramos is an on-air personality working for Univision Radio Chicago, Spanish Rhythmic Latino Mix, and Mexican Regional station: La Que Buena. Omar uses his platform to spread positive, inspiring messages. He has given generously of his time and talent, including participating in a dance-off competition, to support our organization’s mission. He’s an integral, inspiring member of the LP family, and we’re honored to recognize him as part of our 21st anniversary celebration.
